Trump calls for end to bombardier sales in US

US President Donald Trump has called for an end to Bombardier aircraft sales in the United States, accusing the Canadian company of benefiting from the American market while Canada restricts US businesses.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said Bombardier products were not good enough and argued that the company derives more than half of its revenue from the United States. He accused Bombardier of relying on American consumers, companies, airports and services while Canada blocks US banks and businesses from operating in the country, Caliber.Az reports.

Trump also cited Canada’s decision to prevent Gulfstream Aerospace from doing business there, describing the measure as unjust and unfair.

He said the United States should no longer allow Bombardier to access its market unless the company builds aircraft in the country. 

"That Era is OVER! If they want our Market, they must build here, and stop treating America like a “piggybank.” BUY AMERICAN. FLY ON AMERICAN AIRLINERS. ENJOY AMERICAN LIQUOR AND BEVERAGES. SAIL ON LAKE AMERICA. AMERICA FIRST!" he wrote.
