Trump calls NBC host Seth Meyers “talentless,” urges immediate firing

U.S. President Donald Trump has urged NBC to fire television host Seth Meyers for criticising his policies.

In a post on social media platform Truth Social, Trump wrote: “NBC’s Seth Meyers is suffering from an incurable case of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS). He was viewed last night in an uncontrollable rage, likely due to the fact that his “show” is a Ratings DISASTER. Aside from everything else, Meyers has no talent, and NBC should fire him, IMMEDIATELY!”

For the record, Meyer has repeatedly slammed Trump for his policies, particularly those linked to the border with Mexico, on immigrants and refugees, tariffs the president imposed on foreign states, and government shutdowns, which jeopardised food assistance programs for millions.
