Trump claims he could have quickly won Vietnam and Iraq wars

US President Donald Trump has claimed that he could have secured quick victories in the Vietnam and Iraq wars if he had been in office at the time, according to remarks made in an interview with CNBC.

“And I just looked at a little chart. World War I, four years and three months. World War II, six years. Korean War, three years. Vietnam, 19 years. Iraq, eight years. I’m five months. I would have won Vietnam very quickly. I would have if I were president. I would have won Iraq in the same amount of time [as the operation in Iran] that we won because essentially we’ve won here,” Trump said.
