Trump claims strong support from Middle Eastern allies to act against Hamas
US President Donald Trump has stated that numerous current allies in the Middle East and surrounding regions have expressed strong enthusiasm and readiness to take decisive military action against Hamas if the group continues to violate agreements.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump said these countries have offered to “go into Gaza with a heavy force” to “straighten” Hamas, Caliber.Az reports.
Describing the level of support as unprecedented in a millennium, Trump emphasized the deep commitment and cooperation from these nations, calling it “a beautiful thing to behold.” However, he noted that he has advised these allies and Israel to hold off for now, expressing hope that Hamas will choose to comply with agreements.
“If they do not, an end to Hamas will be FAST, FURIOUS, & BRUTAL! I would like to thank all of those countries that called to help,” Trump warned.
Additionally, Trump thanked the countries that reached out to offer assistance, singling out Indonesia and its leader for their contributions to both the Middle East and the United States.
The ceasefire, mediated by the US, Qatar, Egypt, and Türkiye, includes ending hostilities, lifting the blockade, releasing captives, and gradually withdrawing Israeli forces while establishing a technocratic government in Gaza.
