Trump claims US “dropped $250 million worth of bombs” on Iran overnight

President Donald Trump has stated that the United States carried out strikes on Iran last night, using munitions worth around $250 million in that operation, while stating that negotiations with Tehran are continuing.

Speaking in an interview with Fox News, Trump said: “We dropped $250 million worth of bombs on them last night. You know, the whole thing is crazy.”

He also stated that Tehran is showing a strong willingness to reach an agreement with Washington.

“They're getting decimated, just decimated, and they're dying to make a deal,” the American leader said, adding that they want to "make a deal so badly.”
