The delegation accompanying US President Donald Trump on his visit to China is operating under strict digital security controls, according to Fox News.

“Trump's delegation enters China under a digital lockdown - officials leave personal phones behind, carry stripped-down devices and temporary laptops, operating under the assumption that anything brought into the country could be compromised by one of the world's most aggressive cyber environments.

Even charging a phone becomes a security risk. Federal guidance warns against plugging into unknown USB ports, where compromised hardware can extract data or install malicious software — a tactic known as ‘juice jacking.’ The precautions extend beyond government officials to executives from Apple, Boeing, Qualcomm and BlackRock traveling with the president,” the report said.
