Trump describes “very good” hour-long talk with Zelenskyy on Ukraine-Russia dialogue
US President Donald Trump has provided a brief update on his recent conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, describing the call as "very good" and highlighting efforts to align the demands of both Russia and Ukraine amid the ongoing conflict.
Trump shared the details of the call through a social media post, revealing that the discussion lasted for about an hour and was largely focused on the conversation he had with Russian President Vladimir Putin the day before, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.
“Just completed a very good telephone call with President Zelenskyy of Ukraine. It lasted approximately one hour. Much of the discussion was based on the call made yesterday with President Putin in order to align both Russia and Ukraine in terms of their requests and needs. We are very much on track, and I will ask Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and National Security Advisor Michael Waltz, to give an accurate description of the points discussed. That Statement will be put out shortly,” Trump noted.
The aim was to “align both Russia and Ukraine in terms of their requests and needs.”
