Trump: Dialogue with Iran possible within 72 hours

US President Donald Trump has claimed that peace talks with Iran could potentially resume as early as April 24, according to The New York Post.

Trump made the statement in a text message to the publication, noting that negotiations could begin within the next “36 to 72 hours.”

The talks had originally been expected to start on Wednesday, April 22, but were delayed due to disagreements within Iran’s leadership, which prevented the formulation of a “unified proposal.”
