Trump: Exiled prince unlikely to become Iran’s next ruler

Exiled Iranian crown prince Reza Pahlavi is unlikely to ascend as Iran’s next leader, despite enjoying support among some segments of the country’s population, US President Donald Trump stated.

The American leader said some people like him, and they haven’t thought much about that, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.

He also described the crown prince as “a very nice person” but called the prospect of him taking power unrealistic.

Trump added that Iran’s next ruler should come “from within,” describing this as a more suitable option.
