Trump expresses openness to future negotiations with Iran

US President Donald Trump has expressed readiness for future negotiations with Iran on the nuclear program.

The US president is criticising his predecessor, Barack Obama, for signing the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, calling it a “disaster,” Caliber.Az reports via Al Jazeera.

“Yet even to Iran, whose regime has inflicted so much death on the Middle East, the hand of friendship and cooperation is open. They want to make a deal. We’re going to see if we can do something,” he said.

The statement was received with overwhelming silence from Israeli lawmakers.
