Trump: "If we're in a war, we're going to win the war"

President Donald Trump pledged that the United States would prevail in any conflict as he addressed thousands of sailors aboard the USS George Washington, an aircraft carrier currently docked at Yokosuka Naval Base near Tokyo.

The president spoke to a crowd of service members dressed in camouflage, emphasising a departure from what he described as past administrations’ approaches, Caliber.Az reports per CNN.

"Unlike past administrations, we will not be politically correct. You don't mind that, do you? When it comes to defending the United States," Trump told the cheering audience. "From now on, if we're in a war, we're going to win the war.”
