Trump keeps pushing idea of making Canada 51st US state

US President Donald Trump has posted an image showing him playing hockey with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and referring to him as a governor.

In the image, posted on Truth Social, Carney is sitting on the ice while Trump stands nearby saying, “Get up, Governor.” The post implies that the Canadian prime minister is the head of a US state, Caliber.Az reports.

Trump has repeatedly said that Canada should become the 51st US state. He has also claimed that many Canadians support their country joining the United States as a state.

Carney, like his predecessor Justin Trudeau, has said that Canada will never become part of the United States in any form.
