Trump: Other countries to join Strait of Hormuz blockade

President Donald Trump stated that other countries, in addition to the United States, will take part in the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz announced by Washington.

Speaking to journalists, Trump noted that several countries had expressed willingness to participate.

He said that other countries were also going to take part in it, adding that the United States did not need assistance but would allow them to contribute.

"We don't need other countries, frankly. But they've offered the services", the American leader emphasised.

Trump added that he would reveal the list of countries assisting the United States in the blockade on April 14.
