Trump predicts Keir Starmer will step down as UK prime minister

US President Donald Trump has expressed confidence that UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer will resign from office, citing failures in key policy areas.

In a post on the Truth Social platform, Trump claimed that Starmer’s government had “failed” in managing immigration and energy policy.

“Keir Starmer will resign as Prime Minister of The United Kingdom. He failed badly on two very important subjects- IMMIGRATION AND ENERGY (OPEN NORTH SEA OIL!),” Trump wrote.

The US president has previously urged British authorities to expand oil production in the North Sea, arguing that increased domestic output would strengthen the UK’s energy security.
