Trump promises to resolve Ukraine conflict before inauguration If elected
US ex-President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has stated that if he wins the election in November, he will personally reach out to the leaders of Russia and Ukraine to urge them to begin peace negotiations.
“If I win the election, the first thing I’ll do is contact [Russian President Vladimir] Putin and [Ukrainian President Volodymyr] Zelenskyy—I know both of them very well—and make sure they start these negotiations,” Trump said in an interview with streamer Adin Ross on the Kick livestream, Caliber.Az reports citing the Russian media.
The US ex-president has repeatedly claimed that if elected, he would swiftly resolve the Ukraine conflict even before his inauguration. He has also vowed to prevent a potential third world war, which he believes could be triggered by the policies of the current US administration under President Joe Biden.
