Trump rejects NATO help, calls alliance “Paper Tiger”

US President Donald Trump said he rejected an offer of assistance from NATO following what he described as the resolution of the situation in the Strait of Hormuz.

According to Caliber.Az, citing a post on Truth Social, Trump said he had received a call from the alliance offering support but declined the proposal.

"Now that the Hormuz Strait situation is over, I received a call from NATO asking if we would need some help. I TOLD THEM TO STAY AWAY, UNLESS THEY JUST WANT TO LOAD UP THEIR SHIPS WITH OIL. They were useless when needed, a Paper Tiger!" he wrote.
