Trump says Europe risks losing its former identity

US President Donald Trump has stated that Europe risks losing its former identity as it has taken the wrong course in energy and migration policy.

He told journalists from Italian broadcaster La7 that this led to catastrophic consequences for Europe, Caliber.Az reports, citing Italian media.

“If they don't solve these problems, Europe will never be the same again. They probably won't be able to solve them. Immigration is a disaster, and energy, with all those wind turbines that are a failure, is a disaster,” he noted.

Commenting on the possibility of Ukraine joining the European Union, Trump said it was not his concern. According to him, they just want peace.
