Trump says he is considering wider military action against Iran
US President Donald Trump said he is considering expanding military options against Iran as diplomatic talks have failed to make progress, indicating possible strikes on critical infrastructure, including power plants and bridges, Fox News reports
“I may keep going,” Trump said. “They had a chance to sign a deal and survive.”
Earlier on June 9, Trump escalated his criticism of Iranian leadership in posts on social media, describing them as ineffective and weakened militarily.
“Iran’s Military is a complete and total mess. Much of it, like their Navy and Air Force, doesn’t even exist anymore - They have been completely defeated,” Trump wrote.
“Iran is all talk and no action. The Bully of the Middle East is DEAD!!! They’ve taken too long to negotiate a deal that would have been great for them, now they will have to pay the price!” he added.
