Trump says Iran deal terms misrepresented in media
12 June 2026 18:33
US President Donald Trump has stated that the terms of a potential deal with Iran have been misrepresented in the media, claiming that what Tehran allegedly “leaked” to fake news outlets bears no relation to any written agreement.
In a post on Truth Social, he said that their claims — including what he called a “weak and pathetic statement” about a deal — had nothing to do with the truth, Caliber.Az reports.
“Very dishonorable people to deal with. With them, there is no such thing as dealing in good faith,” Trump wrote.
He also claimed that a drone attack on Indian vessels exiting the Strait of Hormuz the previous night was “totally unacceptable,” adding: “They better get their act together, and fast!”
