Trump says Iranians extremely cruel, evil
US President Donald Trump has said Iranians are extremely cruel and evil people, and if they had nuclear weapons, Israel would no longer exist.
In an interview with Fox News, he claimed that Iran had attacked countries that had essentially maintained neutral positions, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Bahrain and Kuwait, Caliber.Az reports.
“They are tough people, they are smart people, but they are very evil. They killed 52,000 protesters as of three months ago <…>. These are very violent, evil people. And if they had a nuclear weapon, Israel would be gone. If I were not the president, Israel would be gone,” he noted.
Trump stated that he was surprised by the attacks and considered them a positive development because, in his view, Iran was thereby losing all the support it had.
Earlier, Iran reportedly attacked US forces at Al Minhad Air Base in the UAE using drones.
The UAE Ministry of Defence later denied that the attack had occurred.
