Trump says "lots of bombs start going off" if Iran ceasefire expires

US President Donald Trump told PBS News on April 20 that if the ceasefire with Iran expires on April 21, "then lots of bombs start going off."

The statement came as a U.S. delegation is preparing for more peace talks in Islamabad. 

During the phone call with PBS News, Trump was not sure if Iran will be participating in the possible talks in Pakistan’s capital, which, he said, are focused on the nuclear weapons concerns. 

“I don't know. I mean, they're supposed to be there. We agreed to be there, although they say we didn't. But no, it was set up. And we'll see whether or not it's there. If they're not there, that's fine too,” he said.
