Trump says most of Iran’s leadership killed in strikes

US President Donald Trump claimed that the majority of Iran’s leadership was killed as a result of strikes on the Islamic Republic.

In an interview with NBC News, the president said that "most" Iranian leaders were killed, "not only from the one attack, but from two others."

"There were three attacks," he added. "And you know, you know about the one that was covered, but there were two other attacks, which inflicted very great losses on their leadership." 

In response to questions about when those attacks occurred, the president said, "Over the last 24 hours."
