Trump says US launched airstrikes on Iranian nuclear sites, declares Fordow “gone”

President Donald Trump has announced that American air forces conducted a "very successful attack" against key components of Iran’s nuclear program, including the fortified underground facility in Fordow, as well as sites in Natanz and Isfahan.

As reported by Caliber.Az, Trump stated that all aircraft involved in the operation have exited Iranian airspace and are safely returning to their bases.

“A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the World that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Shortly thereafter, the President reposted a brief message reading: “Fordow is gone,” appearing to confirm the total destruction of the underground facility.

President Trump also announced a forthcoming address to the nation:

“I will be giving an Address to the Nation at 10:00 P.M., at the White House, regarding our very successful military operation in Iran. This is an HISTORIC MOMENT FOR THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ISRAEL, AND THE WORLD.”

Iranian state media outlets, including Mehr News Agency and IRIB (Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting), confirmed the U.S. President’s statement, reporting overnight strikes on all three nuclear sites — Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.

According to IRIB’s news director, Iranian authorities had evacuated personnel from the facilities “well in advance of the strikes.”

Fox News host Sean Hannity stated on air that he had just spoken with President Trump, who confirmed that six U.S. bunker-buster bombs were used to target the underground complex at Fordow — three times more than originally anticipated.

Hannity further reported that American submarines, positioned approximately 400 miles from the targets, launched 30 Tomahawk cruise missiles at the Natanz and Isfahan facilities. These strikes were part of a coordinated operation to dismantle critical infrastructure in Iran’s nuclear program.

Israel had previously reported that it inflicted significant damage on the Natanz facility during its initial wave of strikes on June 13.
