Trump signals possible US–Cuba diplomatic deal

US President Donald Trump has said that the United States could reach a diplomatic agreement with Cuba, indicating that Washington remains open to political engagement with Havana while acknowledging the country’s difficulties.

Trump suggested that Cuba had been in contact with the US and implied that assistance could be provided as part of any future understanding, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.

He also characterised Cuba as a “failed nation” in need of support.
