Trump slams Obama-era Ukraine arms transfers as “crazy”

US President Donald Trump has characterised the provision of weapons to Ukraine under former President Barack Obama’s administration as “crazy,” referring to military assistance valued at approximately $350 billion. 

Trump made the remarks on the sidelines of the G7 summit in France, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.

“We sell them weapons instead of just giving them away. Obama gave Ukraine $350 billion worth of weapons. He gave, which was crazy. The European Union pays us the full price for weapons [for Ukraine],” Trump said.
