Trump strengthens “Made in America” policy

US President Donald Trump has stated that all federal agencies must prioritise purchasing American-made products and stop buying foreign goods, saying his administration is strengthening “Made in America” laws.

Sharing a post on Truth Social, he noted that for decades, Washington politicians sent tax money abroad and allowed foreign countries to take advantage of the United States, leaving workers, factories, and supply chains behind, Caliber.Az reports.

“This betrayal is OVER. My administration is strengthening ‘MADE IN AMERICA’ laws, eliminating loopholes in exceptions, and ending federal government purchases of foreign goods when great American products are available — and to officials in Washington: NO MORE giving out permits like candy,” he wrote.

According to him, no more automatic exceptions for foreign goods will be allowed, while American workers will be bypassed.

“We are putting American workers, American factories, and American supply chains FIRST — bigger, better and stronger than ever! I have already signed Executive Order 14392 to crack down on fake ‘MADE IN AMERICA’ claims, and we are strictly enforcing it. No more games. No more fake labels. No more cheating American taxpayers. AMERICA FIRST — BUY AMERICAN!” Trump added.
