Trump unveils “Save America Act,” bans mail-in voting
US President Donald Trump has introduced the “Save America Act,” which would prohibit mail-in voting except in certain cases and allow gender transition for minors only with parental written consent.
In a post on Truth Social, he emphasised that men should not compete in women’s sports and that gender transition surgeries for minors require written parental approval, Caliber.Az reports.
“NO MEN IN WOMEN’S SPORTS. NO TRANSGENDER MUTILATION SURGERY FOR CHILDREN, WITHOUT THE EXPRESS WRITTEN APPROVAL OF THE PARENTS,” the post stated.
The legislation also proposes banning mail-in voting except for illness, disability, travel, or military service. Additionally, in-person voters would be required to show identification and proof of US citizenship.
