Trump: US leading Russia, China in space race

President Donald Trump said the United States is now ahead of Russia and China in the space race during an address to the military on Thanksgiving.

“We're dominating space now. We were losing it to both China and Russia. At the time, we had no space forces. So we created this incredible group of people who came together and built something very special. I’m very proud of all of you for being involved. It’s going to be one of the most important things I’ve ever done,” Trump said.

The president highlighted the achievements of the Pentagon’s Space Forces, describing their work in orbit as “incredible.”
