Trump warns Iran could face “Stone Age” strike in coming weeks
US President Donald Trump warned in a national address that within the next two to three weeks, the United States could deliver an “extremely” powerful strike against Iran, capable of setting the country “back to the Stone Age.”
Trump stated that US armed forces have already destroyed key Iranian military assets, including its naval fleet, air force, and nuclear facilities.
We are in this military operation so powerful and we are in this for 32 days in the country has been
“We are in this military operation — so powerful, so brilliant — against one of the most powerful countries, for 32 days,” he said, emphasising that American objectives in the region are close to being achieved.
The president also warned that if Iran does not make concessions in negotiations, the US is prepared to continue strikes, including targeting the country’s energy and oil infrastructure.
He described the current conflict as shorter than many previous American wars and assured that the US is progressing toward all its military goals.
Trump further claimed that Iran possessed weapons previously thought impossible. According to him, Tehran was mass-producing missiles and extending their range to reach European countries and nearly any point in the world.
The American leader emphasised that the Iranians were close to acquiring missiles capable of reaching the US, adding that American forces had stripped the Islamic Republic of this capability.
The president concluded that he accomplished what no other leader was prepared to do. He asserted that if he had not struck Iran in time, “no Middle East and no Israel right now,” adding that regional stability depended on his actions.
