Trump warns Iran of renewed US attacks: "They keep playing us for suckers"

President Donald Trump announced that the US would hit Iran “hard” again, referring to the latest strikes by Iranian forces.

Speaking with reporters in the Oval Office, Trump said Iran had been "playing us for suckers" during negotiations and warned that the US would be "attacking them very hard."

"We're going to hit them again hard today, in case you miss it, because you don't turn on your television set, and we'll see what happens with the deal," the American leader emphasised.

Trump also told Fox News journalist Trey Yingst that the United States used 49 Tomahawk cruise missiles in a new wave of strikes on Iran.

The American leader added that some of the targets struck were located 65 km away from Tehran.
