Trump wraps up Windsor visit with King Charles, heads to talks with PM Starmer VIDEO
On September 18, US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump wrapped up their visit to Windsor Castle, where they bid farewell to King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
The American leader and his wife spent the night at the royal residence, with the Royal Guard present during their departure, Caliber.Az reports per CNN.
After a brief exchange with King Charles, President Trump addressed reporters, saying, “Thank you very much, everyone,” before describing the British monarch as “a great gentleman and a great king.” He then departed the castle grounds by car.
Trump is now set to visit the Chequers residence in Buckinghamshire for a meeting with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, marking the final stop of his official two-day visit to Britain.
Meanwhile, First Lady Melania Trump will remain in the country to take part in a series of engagements with Queen Camilla and Catherine, Princess of Wales.
