Turkey to consider allocating additional amounts of fuel for Ukraine
Ukraine and Turkey discussed further cooperation, including the resumption of maritime supplies and the allocation of additional amounts of fuel, "Ukrainskyaa Pravda" reports.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine after negotiations of the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy Yulia Sviridenko with Minister of Trade of Turkey Mehmet Mush.
In particular, the parties discussed the resumption of maritime deliveries of products from Ukraine to Turkey and the establishment of a number of alternative transport options by sea.
The agenda also included the reorientation of oil products supply channels by Ukrainian importers. In particular, the Turkish side will consider allocating additional volumes for Ukraine, the Ministry of Economy stated.
The discussion concerned the supply of equipment for processing agricultural products for Ukrainian customers. The Ministry notes that Turkey may be one of the most important suppliers and provide export financing.
Among the agenda, the parties considered the insurance of supply of the raw materials made on commission to Ukraine for processing.
"The Ministry of Economy is working to restore the production chains through which Turkish companies supplied their own raw materials to Ukraine for processing and subsequent export or sale in the domestic markets of Ukraine and Turkey," the press service reported.
