Turkish Airlines plane catches fire during landing in Nepal

A passenger aircraft caught fire while landing at Kathmandu airport in Nepal.
The plane, operated by Turkish Airlines, was flying from Istanbul to the Nepali capital. The aircraft’s wheels caught fire during landing, Caliber.Az reports per foreign media.
There were 277 passengers on board, including four children. All passengers were successfully evacuated, although some sustained minor injuries during the rescue operation.
The fire has since been brought under control using extinguishers, and all passengers are reported to be safe.
Following the incident, international flight operations at Kathmandu airport were temporarily suspended.
