Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has met with members of the House of Lords and the House of Commons in the British Parliament.
Fidan had earlier held talks with UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper, Caliber.Az reports, citing Turkish media.
During the meeting, the ministers signed a “Strategic Partnership Framework Document.”
In a joint statement by Türkiye and the United Kingdom, the document was described as providing a solid foundation for strengthening dialogue and cooperation between the two NATO allies and strategic partners, which share a “historic friendship,” “excellent bilateral relations,” and a common outlook on a wide range of international issues and global challenges, including a strong commitment to security and stability in the Middle East.
