Turkish president recites excerpt from poem by Azerbaijani poet VIDEO
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that this year, we celebrate the 30th anniversary of the restoration of our diplomatic relations with great pride. Inspired by our common history, we strengthen friendship and love, unity and equality between our people.
"Despite the fact that our diplomatic relations were established 30 years ago, the unity of our destiny extends to the depths of centuries," the Turkish leader said while speaking at the TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan festival, according to Report.
He also recalled that our fraternal nations were together in the struggle both in 1915 in Canakkale and in 1918 in Ganja, Baku and other regions of Azerbaijan.
Then the Turkish leader recited an excerpt from a poem by the Azerbaijani poet Bakhtiyar Vahabzade "Azerbaijan and Turkey are two sons of one mother."
