Türkiye committed to supporting Ukraine’s security, Erdoğan tells Zelenskyy by phone
In the latest phone conversation, Türkiye's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan discussed with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy the bilateral relations, the peace process between Ukraine and Russia, and regional issues.
According to the X page of the Turkish leader’s press service, Erdoğan stated that Türkiye is closely monitoring contacts in Alaska and Washington, Caliber.Az reports.
He emphasised that the country is committed to lasting peace and is ready to continue supporting Ukraine’s security.

The Turkish president noted that a fair resolution to the Ukraine-Russia conflict is possible. He called for strengthening negotiations and expressed Turkey’s readiness to facilitate high-level contacts that could lead to peace.
At the end of the conversation, Erdoğan congratulated Ukraine on its Independence Day.
