Türkiye delivers fourth warship to Pakistani Navy PHOTO

A fourth Turkish Naval Corvette has been launched into the Karachi Shipyard on August 2 with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz in attendance.

As reported by the Turkish defence portal SavunmaSanayiIST, the fourth MILGEM Class Corvette – the PNS Tariq has been delivered within the framework of the MILGEM project which encompassed the construction of four Corvettes for the Pakistan Navy, including two in Pakistan and two in Türkiye.

The Pakistani Tribune recalls, that the first two Corvettes, PNS Babur and PNS Badar, were launched in Istanbul and Karachi, in August 2021 and May 2022, respectively with the PNS Khyber, the third ship having been set into the sea in Istanbul in November 2022.
