Türkiye delivers Skydagger kamikaze drones to Kosovo PHOTO
A large batch of Skydagger kamikaze drones, produced by the Turkish defence company Baykar, has arrived at Kosovo's Prishtina International Airport.
Kosovo’s Prime Minister Albin Kurti announced the delivery on his Facebook page, noting that the shipment was part of a contract signed in December last year, as per Caliber.Az.
Although the drones were initially expected in January 2026, they were delivered three months ahead of schedule. Dozens of Kosovo Security Force personnel have already completed training on their use.
Kurti stated that the new drones will complement the existing arsenal, which includes Bayraktar TB2 and Puma UAVs, enhancing the army’s strike capabilities in line with modern technologies and tactics. The drones were transported on Rheinmetall multifunctional trucks received by Kosovo last year.
Drones loaded on Rheinmetall 8x8 multifunction trucks we got last year, 15 sosh in total, 10 purchased from us and 5 donated.
