Türkiye deploys T-129 ATAK helicopters to Somalia against Al-Shabaab VIDEO

Somali journalist Bashir Hashi Yussuf stated that Türkiye has sent T-129 ATAK attack helicopters to Somalia to support the country and combat fighters from the Al-Shabaab group.

The helicopters are currently being used to target Al-Shabaab militants within Somalia, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.

The T-129 ATAK, nicknamed the “Angel of Death,” is a versatile platform capable of conducting strike operations in all weather conditions. 

According to Yussuf, the helicopters can operate in extreme heat or cold, in mountainous and difficult terrain, both day and night, carrying out armed reconnaissance and precision strikes against enemy forces.
