Türkiye launches LUNA-1 satellite via SpaceX Falcon-9 VIDEO
Türkiye’s defence company ASELSAN has successfully launched its low-orbit Internet of Things (IoT) satellite LUNA-1 into orbit using a SpaceX Falcon-9 rocket.
As global efforts to build a low-orbit satellite communication infrastructure accelerate, the company has taken a significant step toward becoming a major player in the New Space era, Caliber.Az reports, citing the company’s post on X.

LUNA-1 is the first satellite in ASELSAN’s IoT space solutions family. It was launched from California, USA, as part of SpaceX’s Transporter-15 mission.
The satellite is designed to provide continuous connectivity even in regions where sensor operation is challenging. Positioned in low Earth orbit, LUNA-1 offers real-time, cost-effective Internet access.
