Türkiye’s HTRS-100 radar system put into operation at Damascus Airport VIDEO

A Turkish-made HTRS-100 air traffic control radar system has been put into operation at Damascus International Airport.

Developed by defence technology firm ASELSAN, the system is designed to enhance flight safety and operational efficiency, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Turkish newspaper Yeni Şafak.

The new system is equipped with advanced target tracking algorithms and electronic countermeasure suppression capabilities, enabling accurate detection of objects even under challenging weather conditions.

Thanks to its distributed active backup architecture, the HTRS-100 ensures continuous, uninterrupted operation, significantly improving air traffic safety at the airport.
