Türkiye seizes big batch of drugs during Operation Narkoçelik-45 VIDEO
Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya has announced that Operation Narkoçelik-45 was carried out as part of the fight against drug trafficking in Türkiye.
"During operations conducted over the past three weeks across 77 provinces, law enforcement agencies seized 4,031 kg of drugs and 2,244,148 psychotropic tablets. A total of 2,587 individuals suspected of drug trafficking were arrested," Caliber.Az reports, citing the minister’s message on X.

Earlier, Operation Narkoçelik-40 was successfully conducted across 32 provinces, resulting in the arrest of 125 drug dealers and street sellers, with 63 of them detained.
The operation led to the seizure of significant quantities of illegal substances, including 3,972 kilogrammes of drugs, 15,825,619 cannabis plants, and 188,000 psychotropic pills.
The minister emphasised the government's commitment to combating drug production and trafficking in the country.
This extensive operation highlights Türkiye's ongoing struggle against drug-related crimes and the authorities' dedication to enhancing public safety.
