Twitter founder announces creation of new social network
Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey has announced a new social network called Bluesky Social.
It is noted that the main feature of Bluesky Social will be decentralization based on the proprietary AT Protocol algorithm, Marca publication reports.
However, Dorsey's new project will differ from the similar projects since the users will be allowed to transfer accounts
and data assigned to them from other social networks to Bluesky Social.
Details about ensuring the decentralization of the social network and the function of transferring accounts are not disclosed.
Dorsey said he started Bluesky Social back in 2019. At the moment, the social network is at the stage of closed beta testing.
However, the co-founder of Twitter announced the search for developers who could join his project.
In particular, Dorsey addressed Twitter employees who were fired or are planning to quit themselves after Elon Musk's coming to the office.
