Two foreign passenger planes make emergency landing in Baku

The captain of the aircraft of the Malaysian airline AirAsia, flying on the route Bangkok-Tbilisi requested a landing at Heydar Aliyev International Airport due to fog at the destination.

The press service of Heydar Aliyev International Airport told Caliber.Az that the Airbus A330 aircraft landed at Baku airport at 09:13 (GMT+4).

Early in the morning Heydar Aliyev International Airport also received a flight of Polish LOT Airlines, which failed to land at the Tbilisi airport due to fog. At 07:46 the plane took off to its destination.
