Two injured in Russian strikes on Ukraine's Chernihiv region PHOTO

Two people were injured following Russian strikes on the Chernihiv region, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

“In the Chernihiv district, in one of the settlements of the Horodnia territorial community, as a result of strikes on the private sector, a residential building caught fire. Rescuers promptly extinguished the fire. Two men born in 1966 and 1995 were injured. They were hospitalised. A strike on the territory of a forestry area was recorded. Rescuers extinguished the fire,” the agency said.

Emergency crews responded to the scene, bringing the blaze in the residential area under control and later extinguishing a separate fire that broke out in a forestry area following the strike.
