Two killed, six injured in Russian strikes on Dnipropetrovsk region

Two people were killed and six others injured in Russian strikes on Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region, the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Hanzha, said on Tuesday, September 22.

“Warehouses and an enterprise were damaged in Dnipro. Two people were killed. A 25-year-old man was hospitalised in serious condition. Men aged 35, 46, 47 and a 51-year-old woman were taken to hospital in moderate condition. A 57-year-old man will receive treatment as an outpatient,” Hanzha said.

He later said that Russian forces had simultaneously struck industrial enterprises in three cities in the region — Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih and Pavlohrad — triggering fires.

“Russian forces simultaneously struck industrial enterprises in three cities of the region — Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih and Pavlohrad,” Hanzha said.

He added that the Marhanets and Pokrovske communities in the Nikopol district had also come under attack.

Local reports said the strikes were part of a wider overnight attack on the Dnipropetrovsk region, with explosions reported in all three cities.
