Two more ships with agricultural products departure Ukrainian ports
08 August 2022 10:56
The Turkish Defence Ministry has said that two dry cargo ships with Ukrainian agricultural products sailed off from the ports of Yuzhny and Chernomorsk.
“Dry cargo ship SACURA is carrying 11,000 tonnes of soybeans to Italy. The ARIZONA ship with 48,400 tonnes of corn is heading to Iskenderun [Türkiye],” Kommersant quotes the ministry’s Twitter post as saying.
On August 7, the departure of the ships was agreed upon by the coordination centre, which includes representatives of Russia, Ukraine, Türkiye and the UN. It was created as part of a deal on the export of Ukrainian grain concluded on July 22 in Istanbul. Grain will be delivered from three ports - Odesa, Chornomorsk, and Yuzhnyi under the agreement.
