Two pilots killed as training aircraft crashes in Uttar Pradesh, India

A twin-engine training aircraft crashed into a field near the banks of the Ganges River in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur, killing both the pilot and co-pilot, NDTV reports.
Emergency response teams and officials rushed to the crash site shortly after the incident. The exact cause of the accident remains unclear, although officials said the aircraft crashed after losing control.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed condolences to the families of the two pilots and offered prayers for the peace of the deceased.
He also prayed for strength for the victims’ families as they cope with the loss.
