Two sailors injured after vessel hit in Strait of Hormuz

A merchant vessel has come under attack in the Strait of Hormuz, with two crew members injured.

The UK Navy’s Maritime Trade Operations Coordination Centre said an unidentified projectile struck the vessel, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.

A fire broke out on board following the strike, and the crew was evacuated.

The name of the vessel, its port of registry and the exact location of the incident have not been disclosed.
