Two students injured in school shooting incident in Slovakia

A shooting incident took place at the Saint Joseph Integrated School in the Slovak town of Nové Mesto nad Váhom, resulting in injuries to two students.
Local media outlet Aktuality reported that a sixth-grade pupil used an air gun to shoot two of his classmates. The injuries were described as minor, and the affected students were given medical treatment.
Education Minister Tomáš Drucker and law enforcement authorities confirmed that the children’s lives are not in danger.
Police have opened an investigation to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident, including how the student gained access to the weapon. School activities were temporarily halted while the situation was being addressed.
